Relief of Pain Syndrome by Meloxicam in Orodispersable Tablets Form

Conclusions:

The conducted study showed high efficacy of Movixicam® ODT (Movi Health, Switzerland) in treatment of patients with pain syndrome of various etiologies against a background of dysphagia. Positive therapeutic effect of different degree was observed in 98% of patients. Under the influence of Movixicam® ODT NSAID therapy, it was observed a significant regression of pain syndrome intensity, and, consequently, limits degree of motor function. It was not recorded significant side effects of therapy during the study. Due to ease of use orodispersable form (Movixicam® ODT) meloxicam area of use was significantly expanded, the medicinal product can be used for treatment of patients with swallowing disorder.

An important advantage is that in comparison with other NSAIDs Meloxicam (Movixicam® ODT) does not increase risk of myocardial infarction, heart failure, edema and hypertension, that makes  its use possible (after adequate clinical evaluation) in treatment of patients with acute and chronic blood circulation disorders amid rheumatic diseases.
