Throat and Oral Cavity Diseases: Problem Solving from Etiology to Pathology

The article highlights a main causes of sore throat (70-95% viral etiology, the rest: bacteria and fungi), a modern approach to diseases treatment of throat and oral cavity - an appointment of anti-inflammatory and antiseptics with an antiviral effect. The effects and evidence base of chlorhexidine and benzydamine, advantages of drugs administration method to pharynx surface, tonsils and oral cavity in a form of spray over tablets/pills are given.
