The Use of Movex® and Movinaza® Products in Treatment of Older Patients with Osteoarthrosis of Large Joints

Treatment with the prescription of the medicinal products Movinaza® significantly reduces pain intensity by 57.9% after 20 days of treatment. After 10 and 40 days after cessation of therapy pain intensity continued to be significantly lower by 52.6% and 31.6% respectively. Movinaza® has similar to diclofenac effect expressed, but longer analgesic on in patients with osteoarthritis of large joints. Movinaza® expressed similar effect to diclofenac, but more prolonged analgesic one in patients with osteoarthrosis of large joints.

Complex treatment with use of Movex® Active and Movinaza® products during  20 days resulted in a statistically significant pain intensity reduction in therapy period (days 10 - 38.7% 20 - 64, 5%) and during observation period (30 days - 54.8% 60 - 48.4%), and also reduces the manifestations of stiffness and limitation of activity after 30 days - 31.8%, after 60 days - 41 , 5% and 90 days - 37.5%. Combined sequential therapy with Movex® Comfort and Movinaza® products up to 2 months, led to a significant decrease of pain intensity over the study period: the 60th and 90th day - by 60.4 and 68.9% respectively.

Use of combined therapy compared with diclofenac treatment resulted in a significant reduction of severity of pain, stiffness and limitation of the manifestations of daily activity after 60 and 90 days.

Thus, complex treatment with Movex® Active, Movex® Comfort and Movinaza® products use in treatment of large joints osteoarthrosis of older age patients groups is effective and safe.
